Steevi and Ace may look better but they just don't have the songwriting capabilities of Kim, Pepsi & Jay. The king of the world ep proved that, it was dreadful!
The way I say it , is that Kim's Tailz image has changed a lot , but I don't really care as long as they are still killer live - and they are!!
I saw Steevi's Tailz at JB's in Dudley and they were abysmal, the whole crowd thought so, they were supported by Robin Black and he totally blew them off the stage in every way possible

Steevi and Ace do look far better, but how can you say they do not have the song writing capabilities, have you not heard their new samples?
You have been refering to a 2 year old DEMO of really bad sound quality, have you not heard any of the demos from the Kim camp that have been doing the rounds on Ebay for years????????
I cannot comment on Kim & Co live these days, i lost interest in them some years back, when i last went to see them, they were still using backing tapes - thats not what i call a " killer LIVE performance" !!!!!!!!!Sorry

I have heard Steevi's demo's yeah! The first song is good but the second one is awful, Kim's demo's that have been going around are years old and I actually quite like them anyway!
As for the backing tapes thing, I don't have a problem with that , as it enhances the live performance - if you don't think most bands use them in some way , you are seriously mistaken!!

Maybe part of this whole problem, is the innane
way people are catagorizing that anything which
isn't 'glam' is 'grunge'. This sounded pro-
posterously simplistic when 4-year-olds were saying
it 15 years ago. No offence, like.

I gotta be honest I saw the Band at the demoiltion Ball, & thought they were Great!!!! I now wanna travel and see Steevi's version but as they WON'T come to Cardiff I'm gonna have to travel to Rock city to see them... Hopefully they will rock too.... Just remember 2 version of 'tailz is better than NONE!

Ha, only just found this board. There's only ONE version of the Tailz for me and that's the one with Pepsi & Co. Why Steevi wants to call his band Tigertailz seems a mystery to me. Hes done some decent tunes with his own band so why not continue with that.? Ill listen to both new albums when their out but will only buy the Pepsi one, nearly all the songs are new apart from one or two.
As for the image, yep this needs work but I notice the pic above is a backstage pic from their recent Demolition Ball gig, a simple snapshot, the promo pics look cool to me, particularly with the band being 40+. Image is obviously part of the Tailz but the Kim version tunes are simply better than the Steevi version to me, but its a perference thing and I wish em both the best

Hey Dudes, just to let you know that when Ace got fired from the Tails, me and he started a band together. The outcome waz one aptly named .. "the U.K Killing Machine.." We were together for over a coupla years, doing live shows and Recordin' sessions for new material. I'll post some pikkies soon, and some Killer video up aswell if anyones interested?, will have to be when i get my sh*t sorted out tho.
On a personal note, I m really pleazed for them all, especially 'Dad'(Ace..) its been a long time coming, and i know from living with "Ace" for over a coupla years, considering the devastaing tragedy of the death of his daughter, he pined for the TT reunion every day i worked alongside him, shit hot drummer tho' .. tought him everthing i know.. (fanarrrrrr)
(IF YOU DO LOOK IN ON US 'DAD' .. LOVE TO YOU AND KELLY, thanks for the last piks, she's a sweety. Now .. wheres my freebies!!! X )

Welcome to the board Dude!

I think people - Brits, at least - find the whole
'who has (legal, ethical) rights to the name'
issue really limp, petty and distastefully
reeking of desperatism and Britain's piss-stained
cabaret circuit, is because it reminds them of
has-been farts like David Van Day fighting over
the Bucks Fizz name.
Whichever version of Tigertailz people take
seriously, is continuously devalued by the other's
existence.
